Cross-overs: pipe and cable guidance
A cross-over is applied as protection of subsea pipelines. It is attached at points where cables and pipes may damage the pipeline. Ridderflex covers amongst others rectangular protection plates and clamps with polyurethane.
Polyurethane lining: a protection layer
Ridderflex covers cross-overs with a polyurethane layer to prevent damage on the outer surface of the pipes and cables. We produce these polyurethane linings in different thicknesses, hardnesses and colours.

Properties of polyurethane
Our lining for PU protection plates for pipe and cable guidance has the following properties:
- Extremely wear-resistant
- Excellent ozone and UV resistance;
- Excellent resistance to aging;
- Excellent seawater resistant and
- Resistant to mineral oils, gasoline, greases and various solvents.
